Houston is the largest city in Texas and the 4th largest city in the United States of America.

The city is named after Sam Houston who was commander-in-chief in a war/rebellion against Mexico. In September 1836, Texas became a republic and Sam Houston was elected president.

The city of Houston was formed and named in 1837.

Houston is most famous for Space Center Houston and the phrase "Houston, we have a problem".
